Suburbia in Trouble: ‘Zombies Ate My Neighbors’ Getting Big Screen Treatment!
I remember my brother hogging the SNES because he was deeply involved in “Zombies Ate My Neighbors,” a sci-fi zombie game that takes place in suburbia where two best friends amongst a sea of teenage angst battle for safety against the mysterious uprising of neighborhood zombies.
First Showing is reporting that a live-action adaptation is currently seeking financing and that a screenplay by John Darko is already completed. Darko is producing with April Wade and Ahmed al Baker. This is currently in the works as an independent production and they’re still securing rights, so maybe this news is a bit premature? Still, if the hype gets the movie made I’m all for it.
