BD Review: ‘Pet Sematary’ Fans Dig Up Hammer’s ‘Wake Wood’

Arriving in limited theaters and on VOD later this year from Dark Sky Films is Hammer Films’ latest triumph, Wake Wood, a slow-burn horror tale in the vein of Pet Sematary.

‘Wake Wood’ is another recent release from the resurging Hammer Film Productions–a classy, gothic horror/drama that’s bears the heady aroma of the studio’s rich legacy… [It] is a mood piece, flaunting a dank foreboding that eventually gives way to genuine menace. Whatever it lacks in true scares, it makes up for with atmosphere and craftsmanship.

You can click the title above for the full review. Wake Wood is now out in the UK.
