With production already underway on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, Dan Yeager, who plays the newest incarnation of Leatherface, has been updating his official Facebook page from set. With a slew of boring photos, he has been sharing some thoughts: “I am staying as faithful as I can to the work that Gunner Hansen did in the original,” he states. “I’ve also tried to interpret his life experiences explored in this film. I would say, the most significant change in Leatherface is that he can no longer rely on others to think for him. I can’t say more without getting into specifics of the script.”
He adds, “We just finished a long day of shooting, culminating in a pivotal scene. It’s one of the major elements of the script that makes me believe we are making an extraordinary movie. I wish I could tell you more, but alas…”
