Anchor Bay Entertainment begins The Terror Experiment April 12th on Blu-ray and DVD. Directed by George Mendeluk and featuring an all-star cast including Jason London (Out Cold, Dazed and Confused), C. Thomas Howell (E.T. The Extraterrestrial, The Hitcher, The Outsiders, Camel Spiders), Alicia Leigh Willis (“7th Heaven”, “The L Word”, “General Hospital”), Lochlyn Munro (Freddy vs. Jason, White Chicks, Scary Movie), and Alexander Mendeluk (Twilight, Twilight: New Moon) with Robert Carradine (“Lizzie McGuire,” Revenge of the Nerds) and Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), The Terror Experiment will take viewers on a pulse-pounding journey through a towering hell above Earth and into an inferno of unstoppable thrills!

When nurse Julia finds herself trapped inside the home of her dementia patient, she begins to suspect things are not what they seem; something demonic is seeping through the cracks of this old home. Trapped and with nowhere to turn, Julia soon finds herself in battle to rid the house of this evil before it is too late.

“This film depicts the most harrowing 90 minutes of our protagonist’s life, and I felt that the most visceral way to really feel this was to do a single-shot film,” O’Brien previously teased. “We are with her every step and misstep she takes – through the unraveling of the mystery to the horror of her discovery. It’s a fun, twisty roller-coaster ride that puts a new spin on exorcisms.”
Bury the Devil is the first installment in a planned trilogy. The prequel, Bury the Devil: Origin, is already in development with O’Brien returning to the helm.
O’Brien produces along with Philip Kalin-Hajdu (The Sacrifice Game) and Benoit Beaulieu (Turbo Kid).
