Daniel Radcliffe “Might” Return For ‘The Woman In Black: Angels Of Death’

A few weeks ago Hammer revealed the official plot for The Woman in Black: Angels Of Death and now Hammer CEO Simon Oakes is hinting that Radcliffe might return.

Oakes attended a special screening of the first film recently and spoke of the Harry Potter star’s potential involvement. Per Bleeding Cool, “ It would be a small role, by the sound of things. Plainly put, Oakes wouldn’t deny it, went as far as saying Radcliffe “might” appear.” Those who have seen the first film will have a pretty good idea of what capacity he might return in.

In the sequel penned by Jon Croker, “Seized by the government and converted into a military mental hospital during World War II, the sudden arrival of disturbed soldiers to Eel Marsh Harsh has awoken its darkest inhabitant. Eve, a beautiful young nurse, is sent to the house to care for the patients but soon realizes she must save them from more than their own demons. Despite Eve’s efforts to stop her, one by one they fall victim to the Woman in Black.

They’re making a sequel? Terrible, terrible idea. The first was decent at best. It wasn’t too bad considering it had legitimate scares and a pretty cool atmosphere, but that’s about it. If they were to make a sequel, try to downsize on all the filler. It took FOREVER to get to the haunted house because 30 minutes were spent on Radcliffe shuffling through papers and looking pretty. And please, don’t embark on that rancid ending. Focus on more atmosphere/chills then faces as well.

I would like to see what Angel of Death has in store, but I doubt it can hit the high points that the first had.

i only caught bits of the first movie but wasn’t “the woman” enraged (or whatever) because she wasn’t SPOILER SPOILER with her dead son? so how does her being the ghost in the sequel make sense?
