TV: Chris Zylka Moves From Witches, Sharks and Pirahna To Ghosts For “American Horror Story”

Chris Zylka (Piranha 3DD, Shark Night 3D, The Amazing Spider-Man) is going from playing a witch to a mysterious new role on FX’s American Horror Story.

The actor, who co-starred on the short-lived CW supernatural drama “The Secret Circle,” has joined the rebooted drama in a mysterious new role, THR has learned.

Details on who Zylka will play in the second season of the FX drama from “Glee” co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are being kept under wraps.

Set at an East Coast mental institution in the 1960s, Zylka joins an all-star cast on the horror series that includes returning stars Jessica Lange (who’ll play a nun), Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe in addition to Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Levine, Oscar-nominee James Cromwell and newcomer Lizzie Brochere.

A mysterious role eh? maybe he plays a smug little prick.

  • SO DAMN EXCITED. Chris is one of my favorite actors… I loved him in Secret Circle & Kaboom, and he was epic in Shark Night. The cast for season 2 couldn’t possibly be any more badass.

i really like Chris too! Josh Batchelder, you should check out the MY SUPER PSYCHO SWEET 16 horror trilogy (from MTV)! Chris is in them and he’s pretty good in them!

  • @djblack1313 I have been really wanting to watch those, actually. I have watched most of his stuff, but haven’t seen any of those. Are they actually good?
