Ryan Murphy has once again taken to Instagram to tease this year’s upcoming “American Horror Story” Season 13, and he’s now provided us with our first look at Sarah Paulson’s return to the horror anthology series. The surprise? Sarah Paulson is back as Cordelia Goode!
Sarah Paulson’s Cordelia Foxx/Cordelia Goode first arrived on the scene way back in “American Horror Story: Coven” as the Headmistress of Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies and eventual reigning Supreme of the Salem descendants, with Sarah Paulson later reprising the fan favorite role in “American Horror Story: Apocalypse.”
Ryan Murphy teases on Instagram this afternoon, “AHS 13. The Return of Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode. The Supreme Rises. And yes we have rebuilt the entire Robichaux Academy.”
Murphy has also revealed in his Instagram post today that “American Horror Story 13” will premiere on FX in September 2026, which had previously only been speculation.
The confirmed cast for “American Horror Story” Season 13 also includes Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Ariana Grande, and even cult filmmaking legend John Waters.
We don’t yet have any idea on the theme for “AHS 13,” but it’s clear that at least some of these series regulars will be returning to the screen as characters they’ve previously played. Is it a full on “Coven” sequel season or something else entirely? Your guess is as good as ours.
Evan Peters recently teased, “We’re all getting back together to do this greatest-hits season.”
