I hope you weren’t too big a fan of the Left 4 Dead style multiplayer mode introduced in Dead Space 2, because that idea has been completely scrapped in its sequel. Dead Space 3 will not be pitting player controlled humans against player controlled Necromorphs, instead, we’ll have the optional co-op that’s been the focal point of pretty much every demonstration of the game so far. Despite its flaws, I enjoyed the multiplayer in Dead Space 2, but I’d much rather have a meaty co-op story to dive into when it releases in February. What about you? Oh, and you should definitely head past the break for a fresh batch of creepy new screenshots.
