A Look Behind-the-Scenes of Full Moon’s ‘Axis Rising: Puppet Master X’
Full Moon Features was kind enough to invite Evil Puppets (a company that runs a traveling exhibit of screen-used puppets from horror films) to capture exclusive, behind-the-scenes coverage on the now in-production Axis Rising: Puppet Master X.
In the latest Puppetmaster, “After foiling a plot to blow up an American arms plant, DANNY COOGAN and his girlfriend, BETH, quickly find that their troubles have just begun. One of Toulon’s mysterious Puppets has been kidnapped by the Nazis and under the wicked, watchful eye of occultist, COMMANDANT MOEBIUS, the Puppets’ life-giving serum is synthesized to create a master race of unstoppable soldiers… Moebius plots to assassinate the highly-decorated GENERAL PORTER to deliver a crippling blow to the American war effort; but his experiments are not ready. A Nazi Scientist uses the serum to create their own superior race of NAZI PUPPETS in the form of BLITZKRIEG, WEREMACHT, BOMBSHELL and KAMIKAZE! Danny and Beth, teamed with craggy SERGEANT STONE and Toulon’s Puppets, are no match for Moebius and his war machine. It is up to BLADE, PINHEAD, LEECH WOMAN and JESTER to revive their own secret weapon to stop the AXIS RISING!”
Produced & Directed by Charles Band, the film stars Kip Canyon, Jean Louis O’Sullivan, Brand Potts, Scott King, Stephanie Sanditz, Oto Brezina, Terumi Shimazu, Paul Thomas Arnold and Kurt Sinclair.

Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”) stars as Mia, who awakens from a coma, grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions and her perception of reality.

Jennifer E. Montgomery makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with director of photography Andrew Davis, inspired by Montgomery’s first-hand experience with tragedy involving her best friend.
“Months before the incident, there were signals that her world was unraveling,” says Montgomery. “I could feel the pressure building, though I didn’t know what form it would take. I never could have known what violence would come, and I certainly never imagined making a film about it.”
Austin Stowell (“NCIS: Origins”), Suraj Sharma (Happy Death Day 2U), Mojean Aria (Reminiscence), Amol Shah (“For All Mankind”), and Zenobia Shroff (“Ms. Marvel”) round out the cast.
Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions produce in association with Catchlight Studios (Heretic, The Blackening).
This Tempting Madness is rated R for “language, violence/bloody images, and brief sexuality.”
