A fourth “American Horror Story: Asylum” teaser promo floods online, this time featuring a white rose with a – surprise – inside.
Being commited this October, only on FX, the new season is set at an East Coast asylum for the criminally insane in 1964, and revolves around Jessica Lange’s new character — a nun — and her boss at the institution, played by James Cromwell.
Clea Duvall, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, The Voice’s Adam Levine, Mark Consuelos and newcomer Lizzie Brochere round out the cast. Other returning cast members set to play new roles include Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe. The first installment of “American Horror Story” earned 17 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, tying for the most of any program this year and setting a record for the most Emmy nominations for a miniseries in basic cable history. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Dante Di Loreto and Tim Minear are Executive Producers of “American Horror Story: Asylum.” It is produced by 20th Fox Television.
There’s some speculation that these teasers will comprise the opening credits of the season, much like the early imagery we saw last year made it into Season 1’s opening credits. With that in mind, I’ve included all of them below the jump (in reverse order – newest to oldest) so you can test this theory with some degree of convenience.
