‘Shutter Island’ Video Interview w/Scorsese, DiCaprio and Kingsley

While Bloody Disgusting usually has the opportunity to sit down with the filmmakers to talk shop, the cast and crew behind Paramount’s Shutter Island were available on such an incredibly limited basis. Therefore, beyond the break you’ll find generic on camera interviews with director Martin Scorsese, along with stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Kingsley. The film tells the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane. Why Mark Ruffalo didn’t partake is beyond me — he’s the whole reason I want to see this adaptation.
