BD Review: ‘Midnight Son’ Heavily Inspired By Romero’s ‘Martin’

Screening at the forthcoming Omaha Film Festival and Cinequest Film Festival (details here) is Scott Leberecht’s pretty awesome indie vamp flick Midnight Son, which will digest well for fans of George Romero’s Martin:

This slow-paced vampire film puts the boot to most (other vampire flicks) and deserves much more praise than it will get. Strangely quiet on the PR front (this came out of left field), ‘Midnight Son’ is an impeccable, daring and undoubtedly remarkable debut.

You can click the title above for the full review. I highly recommend checking this (blood) sucker out if the chance presents itself.
