Trailer For Chiller Doc ‘The American Scream’

Airing October 28 on Chiller is The American Scream, which also premiered at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas (here’s my review). Check out the film’s first official trailer.

From Best Worst Movie director Michael Stephenson, “‘The American Scream’ is a touching documentary that follows three Halloween-obsessed households as they transform their homes into neighbor-terrifying supernatural wonderlands. Endless styrofoam tombstones and backyard beasts come courtesy of a few supremely dedicated local “home haunters” who’ve devoted their lives to the art of handmade monster-making.

The American Scream is an original documentary for NBCUniversal’s Chiller network; it will premiere on Chiller on October 28 at 8pm EST. The film will also play at film festivals throughout October and November. For information on the film and tickets visit
