Trailer For Uni’s 3-D ‘Jurassic Park’ Release

Steven Spielberg’s epic Jurassic Park gets the 3-D treatment April 5, 2013. We’ve updated with the trailer for the re-release.

While the post-converted garbage is just a way to pull in some extra cash, it could also tell the studio we want more dino action.

Sam Neill and Laura Dern star in the 1993 adaptation that begins during a preview tour of a new theme park, which suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok.

Thus far the film has grossed $914,691,118 worldwide, could the re-release push it over a billion? Who cares…I just want more movies, toys and JP t-shirts.

Saw it opening night when it first hit theaters, will be seeing it again. LOVE this movie!

This is really annoying to me, I wouldn’t mind seeing it in 2D but the concept of post-converting for nothing more than a cash grab really bothers me. I’d hate to sound like a miserable bastard but I’m not sure that I’d want to support this unless its a 2D screening.

Yeah, I too would love to support the re-release of classics, but I don’t want to support (post-conversion) 3D.

      • Aaron Emery

Same here, more support just means they’ll continue doing this. The 3D conversation could be done well, but in my opinion if it wasn’t intended to be in 3D it won’t look right anyway. It’s kinda like when The Excorsit was re-released to incorporate that stupid fucking stair case scene. Okay, maybe this trend is worse.

  • SO goddamn psyched.

  • I can not wait. I’m not too excited about the 3D or the higher ticket price, I just want to see JP on the Big Screen again.
