The best end of the world movie hands down is The Rapture. One of the greatest most under-seen and under rated movies ever made. It’s chilling, twisted, and controversial all at the same time. It also has a amazing performance by Mimi Rogers.

    A truly brilliant movie.

Actually, IMHO, it is her best performance, nothing else really touches what she did in this film. Agree totally, brilliant and woefully unloved. In a class not quite by itself, again IMHO, I think it is very much like Take Shelter, another great, under-viewed film of enormous impact.
