I’m not expecting anything revolutionary with the upcoming pseudo-sequel Dead Island Riptide — all I need is an electrified machete, a horde of zombies, and a few friends to mow them down with. That’s not to say I don’t have high hopes for it. There are many ways Techland can improve their DLC support, so it’s not quite as abysmal as the original game’s DLC, and there are even a few pages I think they can take from Far Cry 3’s book. Check out a brand new “They thought wrong” trailer, after the jump.
Dead Island Riptide launches on April 23 for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
