No New Content Planned For ‘Resident Evil: Revelations’ On 3DS

In a thread on the Capcom Unity forum, a fan asked if there were any plans to make Rachel playable in the 3DS version of Resident Evil: Revelations, as is the case for the upcoming console and PC port. Capcom’s Corporate Officer/Senior Vice-President Christian Svensson squashed any hopes 3DS owners might still have for DLC, saying “Sorry guys, but there are no planned updates for the 3DS version of Revelations. We’ve added a fair amount of new content to the new edition which is fairly common to do.”

If you want the port’s exclusive goodies, it looks like you’ll have to re-purchase Revelations when it comes to the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U on May 21st.

Even if it didn’t come with new content, I’d still be buying the PS3 version. Can’t wait to play this on the big screen.
