Shinji Mikami, one of the minds behind Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, unveiled his next game last week, a “pure” survival horror game titled The Evil Within. The live action teaser was definitely one of the more unsettling debuts I’ve seen for a horror game, though that’s unsurprising seeing as it’s the work of the extremely talented Kyle Cooper, who has worked on American Horror Story, The Walking Dead and Se7en. I decided to go through the teaser and capture nearly 40 screenshots from it, which you can enjoy in all their deeply unnerving glory after the break.
The Evil Within launches on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and next-generation consoles in 2014.
