[E3 2013] Your Handy Guide To All The Pre-E3 Events

I hope you’ve adequately prepared yourself for what is destined to become the biggest E3 in nearly a decade. After enduring the longest console generation in the history of this wonderful industry, my body is ready — it aches — for some new consoles. I’m looking forward to seeing what the PlayStation 4 looks like, and I’m especially excited to see what Microsoft does to improve their image. Fifteen exclusives is a damn good start, but it’ll require a lot more than that.

The pre-E3 press conferences, an annual tradition, are set in stone and you can be sure I’ll be here all day on Monday to report on all of the exciting news that will come out of the event. I refuse to sleep until every one of you has had your fill of gaming news. Conference schedule after the break.

Hey Adam could you find out when Capcom has their conference? They talked about a big suprise and i really hope they are gonna either shed some light on the RE reboot or Dead Rising 3 ..

And do you think theyre gonna show anything more from Evil Within?, Alan Wake 2, or Dead Space 4? … Anyway I know i don’t logg on and comment much but thanks for continuing to make great entertaining updates! 🙂

Capcom won’t have a pre-E3 conference – their big mystery game will likely be revealed during either Sony or Microsoft’s conference, or during the actual event.

As for the games, we’ll probably see more of The Evil Within. I guarantee we won’t hear anything from Dead Space 4 (Visceral Games is working on a Star Wars game right now) and Remedy has confirmed we won’t be seeing anything from Alan Wake anytime soon.

(Regarding your second comment) You’re very welcome! Big budget games will always exist, but indie games are the future, so I’m definitely trying my best to cover that area as thoroughly as I can!

Also, tomorrow I’ll be posting mine and TJ’s wish list for E3, so you can look forward to us diving into what we want/expect to see from E3 very soon!

And plus I think im speaking for all horror gamers in here when i say thank you for showing off all these gorgeous Indie horror games .. and for reminding me off those i had forgotten about

  • ThunderDragoon

Awesome. Can’t wait for all the gaming goodness.

  • thank for the details Adam. everyone has been trashin microsoft for what they’ve shown, but really im kind of excited. i habe a pc, 360 and a ps3, but this generation of consoles I’ll only be picking up one (& upgrading the hell out of my pc), and an all in one entertainment console does sound great to me, however my decision will solely fall to what console has the exclusive titles that I gravitate towards more (hence no wii, not trashing nintendo though).
