The Wolverine‘s Ken Yamamura, Battleship‘s Raj K. Bose, and Battlefield: Earth‘s Christian Tessier have all been named as part of the Godzilla cast, which is now in post-production for May 16, 2014.
They join the previously announced Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Richard T. Jones, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, David Strathairn, Patrick Sabongui, Yuki Morita, Brian Markinson, Juliette Binoche, Akira Takarada, Victor Rasuk, C.J. Adams, and Ken Watanabe.
Gareth Edwards directs the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham.
Making his first appearance in 1954 (Gojira) Godzilla is a giant monster that lives in the sea that comes from the ocean to feed on mankind.
“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.“
