‘Paranormal’ Producer’s ‘The Houses October Built’ (Poster Premiere)

Paranormal Activity producer Steven Schneider, who is also behind WER and SX_Tape, has announced his latest found-footage horror film, The Houses October Built, which will be shopped to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market by Brian O’Shea’s The Exchange, TheWrap reports.

“The Houses October Built examines the Halloween Haunted House phenomenon that draws over 30 million visitors every October. Lurking beneath the surface of spooky fun, the film aims to shed light on the dark world of haunting.

Zack Andrews and Bobby Roe directing the movie, which New Regency produced with Schneider.

Not sure about the found footage approach, but if they can capture the Halloween spirit even half as well as Trick ‘r Treat did, I’m in. I’m a sucker for movies/books set around Halloween.

Anything attached with the producers of PA & Insidious is pure shit!

Hope it’s good. Like the sale poster. By the way, what happened to Wer? I heard it’s already out and good.

Oh, so how many sequels are already in the works?

I had a role in this, and the director and crew were great to everyone. If you like visiting haunts during Halloween this is a new twist on that world
