Capcom announced their plans to bring back one of the Resident Evil greats with a fresh coat of HD paint earlier this month, and the response so far has been pretty positive. I see it as their giving us the power to choose where the series heads — whether that’s a continuation of the more action-oriented installments we’ve endured the last handful of years, or something more survival horror in flavor. I haven’t hated the former as much as most fans, but I do hope it ends up being the latter.
