Well, damn.
Last week, a rumor surfaced claiming Microsoft has been in talks with Konami to publish Silent Hills as an Xbox One exclusive. According to a tweet from Microsoft’s head of Xbox Phil Spencer, the rumor is patently untrue.

As much as many of us wanted to see Silent Hills get made, the idea of its becoming an Xbox exclusive had a polarizing effect among Bloody Disgusting’s readers. It’s too bad we don’t live in a world where Microsoft and Sony could chip in 50/50 to get it made for both platforms.
That will never happen, so instead of hope, I’ll just leave you with some sad GIFs.
