This new trailer, fresh from Gamescom, shows off a few of the bosses that’ll undoubtedly be tearing us to pieces when the game adds a much needed dose of dark fantasy fun to the world on October 4. I can’t help but look at the world they’ve created and wonder who came up with these fucking terrifying monsters. From the video games I’ve played and the horror movies I’ve seen, I’ve witnessed a fair share of monsters, but the ones in these games take the place. Like, if there was a beauty pageant for monsters, where they were judged based on quickly they made you soil yourself, the ones in these games would win.
I honestly think this series stands up and in many aspects surpasses the major players in the RPG genre, like the Elder Scrolls and Diablo series. The only thing that keeps it from gaining wider appeal is its incredibly unforgiving difficulty. I’ll admit I broke a controller while playing Demon’s Souls, and I never get that angry. When a game frustrates me I set down the controller and do something productive, like light some candles, lay down on my beanbag and fantasize about TJ. I hope that’s not weird. READ MORE
These screensthots came to me in a dream. I was in a cave, wearing nothing but a pair of leather chaps and some Gucci sunglasses. Standing in front of me was Pyramid Head, and this is what he said, “My dear Adam, your butt looks mighty fine in those leather chaps, but alas, I fear my time is running out. I’ve come to you to deliver a fresh batch of screenshots that you must deliver to your legions of fans. Sadly, I will not be appearing in the next Silent Hill game, because I have prior engagements. You understand, don’t you?” Too which I replied, “Yes, my dear Pyramid Head, and might I say your ass looks delicious in that kilt made from human skin.” Then we laughed heartily and I woke up.
So here I am, delivering these new screenshots to you, my legions of fans. I hope you enjoy them, I know I sure did. Oh, and Downpour releases on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 25. Pyramid Head wanted me to say that too. READ MORE
As trilogies go on, they tend to fix mistakes the predecessors made, and kick more and more ass. Resistance 3 will do no less. With the aliens invading Chicago, it gives us all more of a reason to defend it. Well, maybe just those from the area, but it’s still going to be awesome. And the online multiplayer is looking quite excellent thus far. Check out the video below and more screens past the break.

Gears Of War 3 is coming out next month, and as excited as I am I can’t help but feel sadness as the trilogy is coming to an end. What will become of the series? Will Epic pass it off as Bungie did with the Halo series? Will they start up a new set of Gears games, or will they stick a chainsaw in it and call it quits? I shake like Michael J Fox with worry, but I press on.

Well bitches, Gamescom is in full swing and there are tons of wonderful video game goods pouring out. For those who don’t know what exactly Gamescom is, just think of it as the E3 of Germany. It’s in game, and it looks absolutely beautiful.

I don’t own a 3DS and haven’t had too much interest in one until I started seeing gameplay from this game. I mean, damn does it look good, especially for a handheld title. With the 3DS’ price now at the low, low price of $169.99 I might finally be getting my hands on one, followed swiftly by this game. Too bad it’s not coming out until next year, but don’t you worry, Uncle Adam has you taken care of with some Revelations goodies, including some gameplay below.
Not enough? I agree. That’s why you’ll find even more gameplay and a batch of new screenshots fresh out of Gamescom waiting for you after the break. If that’s not enough, well, I suppose you’ll have to come with me to my bedroom. I might have something else for you, and I promise it’s just as terrifying as Revelations will be. READ MORE
Devil May Cry is getting reimagined with the upcoming DmC and despite slick visuals and some incredibly cool looking combat, Dante’s new look was what many gamers couldn’t stop talking about. I love the new look, it’s a breath of fresh air and I’m definitely a fan of the series’ new style. Below you can see the game in action, and if you were at all worried about whether or not DmC has retained the over-the-top demon slaying kickassery that made the previous games so fun to play, this new trailer should massage your worries away.
DmC releases sometime next year for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, and so far it looks to be shaping up quite nicely. READ MORE
