Finish The Fight With Operation Raccoon City’s Final Spec Ops DLC, Available Now

Whether or not you’re a fan of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, something they definitely got right was how the DLC was managed. The strategy of handing out bite-sized portions of action a few weeks apart to keep us playing the game with some extra weapons sprinkled on in case you’re looking to spice up your arsenal is a good one. The first Spec Ops mission was free and was followed by the first batch of paid missions a few short weeks later, and for those of us who wish to finish the Spec Ops story you can do so now with the final Spec Ops mission pack. The four-player co-op is where it’s at with this game (mainly because the Versus mode sucks) and it looks like they’re fully aware of this. Now if only Capcom could learn to stop charging players for multiplayer modes–you have to pay for the Nemesis mode in ORC, similarly to the Versus mode in RE5–because that cuts the available players when searching for a game by a lot. If you want to see how the Spec Ops campaign ends I suggest you make sure you have $10, or 800 Microsoft Party Girls available and go check it out.

Get Your Echo Six Fix Today In Operation Raccoon City’s First Batch Of Spec Ops Missions

That first Spec Ops mission, which you can download for free right now, was just a small taste of what you can expect from the Spec Ops campaign. It’s an appetizer, if you will, and today we’re getting more of the main course. I finally got the chance to play Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City last weekend and while I definitely went in with some insanely low expectations, thanks in no small part to TJ’s pseudo-rant on the game, I actually had some fun with it. It’s not great, in fact, it’s a struggle for me to even call it a good game, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun with it. After beating the USS campaign I reluctantly decided to download and check out the lone Spec Ops mission, and I had more fun fighting Nemesis as the good guys than I did getting my ass kicked by Leon and Claire as the bad guys. Head past the break for more info! READ MORE

Grab Operation Raccoon City’s First DLC For Free In April

It looks like the first DLC for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, due later this month, will be free of charge. It’s an all-new mission for the Spec Ops mode where you enter Raccoon City as a member of the Spec Ops team. Your team’s goal is to find the source of the virus that decimated Raccoon City, but that’s going to be difficult with the U.S.S., B.O.W.’s, and hordes of the undead all standing between you and your team’s goals.

This New Operation Raccoon City Trailer Helps Us Decide Which Soldier We’ll Play As

Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, a game I can now say is coming next month. This video’s a little different from the previous one because it focuses more on the various members of the US Spec Ops and USS (Umbrella Security Service) teams, and their abilities. There are some powers shown off in the trailer, and after watching through it I’ve decided I’ll be playing as Party Girl. Why? Because I like to party.
