New Teaser For ‘The Upper Footage’ Comments On Tarantino Rumors, Film Screens In NY At The End Of The Month

I’m not 100% sure what Upper is. The short explanation that we’ve previously come to on the site is that it’s an alleged home video of a group of upper class kids who laugh and parade around a friend after she overdoses on drugs. There has since been alleged attempts by the rich families involved to cover up the incident, and the videos.

But East Coasters can find out soon enough! It plays the Landmark Sunshine Cinemas in NY on January 31 and February 1, 2, 7-9. tickets here and check out their Facebook if you want.

Finally!!! The Official Trailer For The ‘Evil Dead’ Remake!!!

We got a shaky, blurry look at Fede Alvarez’s hotly anticipated Evil Dead remake earlier this month. While it was blurry and shaky due to its bootleg nature it revealed one thing – that the film will be supremely gory!!! And now, we have a clear look at the film. Bonus? Still super gory! And it uses the low-roving shots that we all know and love. Despite the more polished look, it feels very much like an Evil Dead movie to me. Specifically the first one, where it was five people and it wasn’t just about Ash!

In the remake starring Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, Jessica Lucas and Bruce Campbell, “Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

Check out the official website and Facebook page. The Book of the Dead is opened on April 12, 2013. Head inside for the trailer! But beware – it’s red band. Might be too gory for your workplace! READ MORE

When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.” Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Elizabeth Blackmore, Jessica Lucas and (supposedly) Bruce Campbell also star.

Another Teaser Trailer For ‘Paranormal Activity 4′

Yesterday we posted a teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 4, which marks the return of Paranormal Activity 3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman.

And now we have a second teaser trailer. It still doesn’t show much, but it’s become par for the course to have several teaser trailers leading up to the actual trailer.

Joost and Schulman co-directed Catfish independently before it was acquired by Universal. PA 3 has made over $200 million at the box office worldwide, while the entire Paranormal Activity franchise has pulled in approximately $577 worldwide at the box office alone making it a near billion dollar franchise (when you include home video).

Paramount releases PA4 on October 19, 2012. The full trailer hits Tomorrow, August 1st. Head inside for the teaser! Also – are teasers for trailers worth it? Let us know. READ MORE

Teaser For The Trailer For ‘Paranormal Activity 4′!!! (I Wish Teasers For Trailers Didn’t Exist)

We broke the news back in January that, after hitting a home run with Paranormal Activity 3, both Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will be returning to direct Paranormal Activity 4 for Paramount Pictures. Since then we’ve had almost no news (no one has) except that Matt Shively (April Apocalypse) had been cast as “Alex”. And that’s it.

But now we have a teaser trailer. And to say that it doesn’t show much would be an understatement. Kind of weird that we live in an age that there are advertisements for advertisements.

PA 3 has made over $200 million at the box office worldwide, while the entire Paranormal Activity franchise has pulled in approximately $577 worldwide at the box office alone making it a near billion dollar franchise (when you include home video).

Toby returns October 19, 2012. The full trailer hits Wednesday, August 1st. Head inside for the teaser! Also – are teasers for trailers worth it? Let us know! READ MORE

Teaser Trailer for the ‘The Armageddon Chord’ Novel

Bloody-Disgusting has scored the exclusive teaser trailer for musician/horror author Jeremy Wagner’s upcoming book, The Armageddon Chord! The book is slated to come out August 22nd via kRP Publishing. Check out this exclusive sneak peek after the jump.

Deep beneath the Egyptian sands, an ancient and evil song written in hieroglyphics is discovered in the long lost and buried pyramid of the demonic pharaoh, Aknaseth. It is written, that if this song is performed for the world to hear, it will unleash the Apocalypse upon the world of man Satan will reign and grant immortality to the chosen. With the help of abominable Egyptologist, Helmut Hartkopff, nihilistic multibillionaire, Festus Baustone the Third will do whatever it takes to bring the song to life at any cost- even if his only daughter is to be sacrificed. Kirk Vaisto, dubbed the God of Guitar by his millions of fans, soon finds himself caught between the forces of divine good and monumental evil. Vaisto begins a musical journey that takes him from an unholy chapter in ancient Egyptian history to the very remains of the Holy Cross, to the concert stage, and beyond all this, to the very edge of Hell itself. Will Kirk give the performance of a lifetime and either deliver our world from evil or will he annihilate us all with the stroke of his hand? What will happen when Kirk Vasito strikes The Armageddon Chord?

Jeremy Wagner is a published horror writer with stories in ‘Fangbangers: An Erotic Anthology of Fangs, Claws, Sex and Love’, and ‘Hungry For Your Love’. He is also an avid member of the Horror Writer’s Association. He is also a touring/recording artist, having gone through 16 countries with his bands Broken Hope and Lupara.
