Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 aims to rip and tear this year during its annual Halloween event. Activision is bringing The Doom Slayer himself to the game as part of “The Haunting” update, which will be released on September 17.
Players will be able to acquire the Doom Slayer operator, inspired by his recent outing in DOOM: The Dark Ages. However, players will also be going old-school, thanks to the Doomguy skin inspired by the original Doom. Alongside the Slayer, players will be able to grab DOOM-themed weaponry, including the shotgun, crucible blade, and the iconic BFG.
The Doom Slayer won’t be available right away when The Haunting launches. Instead, he’ll be added on September 24 via the premium Event Pass. There will also be a free tier which will include the following:

Doom Slayer aside, The Haunting update will also include a nighttime version of the Avalon map, appropriately-themed content and foes for the Halloween season in the Endgame mode, limited-time multiplayer modes, and new maps.
