Werewolf movies that are scary AND fun
Examples: Dog Soldiers and An American Werewolf In London
Now this is a genre where I kinda get why it’s not hugely popular but at the same time I don’t care. People might ask, “Why do we want to see a movie where the very character we care about is the villain?” My retort is that can be absurd amounts of fun. Just look at movies like American Psycho and even many of the Nightmare On Elm St. entries. Sometimes being bad can be oh so good!
Plus, and this goes back to my argument just a few pages back, we want to see our hero find salvation. We want to be a part of that journey. And if that journey involves some SERIOUS need for a razor and some shaving cream, so be it!
