Karnivool – Steve Judd
Perhaps the most well known drummer on this list, Judd’s ability to deftly weave his way in and out of the intricate, sublime melodies of Karnivool is something extraordinary. Because the band makes great use of space in their songs, Judd has to step up and fill those gaps to create a sense of continuity, which he expertly does.
If you’re a fan of Porcupine Tree or Tool, this band definitely fits into that style while still being very unique.
