Los Campesinos – Hold on Now, Youngster…
I feel like I should simultaneously apologize for this entry while freely admitting that deep inside, I’m still that angsty teen laying face down listening to Dashboard Confessional. That’s really all Los Campesinos is: a cooler, upgraded, Welsh Dashboard. Regardless, as of late I’ve decided to relive college and listen to this album several times a day. And the thing about this pretentiously titled song is that it makes you want to dance while also weeping about something teenager-ish. Even if you don’t have anything to dance-weep about, this song will find it for you. (Also, it namedrops “LiveJournal.” LIVEJOURNAL!)
