Mikhail Bulgakov – The Master And Margarita
This is a weird one, to put it mildly. There are people who argue that this book is more fantasy and political satire than anything else. While I 100% agree with those statements, I also realize that this is a surreal, phantasmagoric journey that definitely has its fair share of nods to the horror world. Incredibly well written and also a joy to read, this classic doesn’t get the attention that it so rightfully deserves.
