This Friday is Halloween, the time when costumes are everywhere and people can hide behind a visage that exudes a completely different personality than the one they live in their day to day lives.
Many of the most popular costumes are of the great horror icons: Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, etc… There’s a reason that these characters have lived on and become so iconic. They’re evil incarnate. They’re ferocious killers. And, let’s be honest here, they’re simply badass.
So I got to thinking, with Halloween just around the corner, why don’t we take a moment to recognize some of the great masked villains that have appeared in horror!
