Alien 3
Alright, I may lose a few of you here, but hear me out.
I’m a huge fan of the Alien films. For me, Alien 3 was a continuation of Ripley and the insane amount of loss and tragedy that she’d already suffered. Remember, by this point she’d lost her crew, she’d lost decades of her life on the escape pod which meant that she lost her daughter, she became attached to Hicks and Newt who, surprise surprise, died in the beginning of the third film. This character endured so much and still managed to find a way to fight, even though you could 100% tell that she was exhausted to her very core and desperate to give up. But she didn’t and I fucking love her for that.
