Mikael Åkerfeldt – Opeth
It’s no secret that Åkerlfeldt is hugely influenced by music, in particular prog rock, from the 60’s and 70’s with some healthy dashes of the 80’s tossed in. Now, imagine he took his amazing songwriting skills, which have no problem taking the necessary amount of time to build and evolve in their own natural way, and applied them to something that Ti West would make. Much like with Fischer, Åkerfeldt’s “movie” would need to be something very atmospheric that required patience from its viewers. But by god would the payoff be worth it.
