Chris and Billy – Carrie
Chris and Billy are my go-to whenever I think about characters who really deserve to die in horror movies. In all three versions of the film, they just never seem to really get what they deserve. Weirdly enough, I much prefer their deaths in Kimberly Pierce’s remake, because Chris remains alive just a bit longer (and suffers just a bit more) to see Carrie as she dies. Their death by exploding car in De Palma’s undeniably brilliant original never fully satisfied me.
