Carter Burke – Aliens
Sometimes I’m look back and am surprised that Mad About You was such a hit sitcom, because I can’t look at Paul Reiser and think anything but disgust. Of course I realize that Reiser is probably a great guy, but Burke is an atrocious character. He embodies the sleazy corporate type perfectly, and his attempted murder of Ripley and Newt was unforgivable. My only complaint with Aliens (my favorite in the franchise) is that we didn’t get to see him die (if you don’t count the famous deleted scene of Ripley finding him cocooned at the end of the film).
