What Are Your Biggest Fears?

Cabin fever

Fear That I Will Die And My Dog Will Be Left Alone to Starve

This is an oddly specific fear, but there is a scene* in Adam Green’s brilliant 2010 film Frozen in which Emma Bell’s character describes her fear at that moment: that she will most likely die on the ski lift she is trapped on and her dog will be left at home thinking she abandoned her before eventually starve to death. As weird as it sounds, I think about this every day. I love my dog and the thought of him being abandoned at my apartment if I happen to die in a car crash disturbs me to no end. I fully realize this isn’t healthy and I probably won’t die a sudden death, but I still think about this scenario a lot more than I should.

*Try as I might, I was unable to find this scene online, so the trailer will have to do. But if you’ve seen Frozen, you know exactly which film I’m talking about.

If you need some help finding a list for your phobia, tale a look at this site. It’s an interesting read. What are some of your greatest fears? Let me know in the comments below or shoot me a Tweet!
