Dr. Richard Kimble – The Fugitive
I feel like no one talks about how great of a movie The Fugitive is anymore. Essentially one long chase scene, The Fugitive is never boring. Ford plays one of the most sympathetic heroes in film history in Dr. Richard Kimble, a man convicted of killing his wife. The majority of the film follows Kimble after a prison escape as he is on the run and attempting to prove his innocence. Ford is great in the role (but it was his co-star, Tommy Lee Jones, who took home the Academy Award that year) and his performance makes you really care about the fate of his character.
