American Horror Story
Everyone seems to have a different ranking of all of the American Horror Story seasons (for mine, see this post here), but there is no denying that everyone out there likes at least one of its seasons. The series’ kitchen sink approach practically guarantees that it has something for everyone. If you were one of the few who adored Freak Show, here’s your chance to get it!
Masters of Horror
First of all, buy these individually. The 4-volume bundle goes for $75 on Amazon and you can buy each season for roughly $10 individually. Not every installment is a winner, but there’s plenty here to love with renowned horror directors taking the reigns on one episode a piece. Just watch out for Takashi Miike’s Imprint. That one will haunt your dreams forever.
Tales From the Crypt
HBO’s darkly comedic horror series is on DVD for the low(?) price of $115! That measures up to almost $17 per season.
The Twilight Zone
The MSRP for this box set is $400, and as of this writing it is on sale for $171.99. You just can’t beat that! This contains all 156 episodes of the original series that ran from 1959-1964. That is just $1.10 per episode! Any horror fan would have to be crazy to not want to pick this up!
