“American Horror Story” is a show that amazes me that it’s gone on for so long. It’s not that I think the show is bad or anything like that. It’s simply that it’s such a weird program with some truly horrifying visuals that I’m amazed the public is still so into it. Maybe it’s the stars pushing the series? Maybe it’s because it’s a Ryan Murphy show and his fans are pretty rabid? Who knows?
As mentioned earlier, the show has some pretty memorable imagery. Some of it is stunningly beautiful while some of it is horrifically disturbing, searing images into our brain that no amount of cute kitten photos can overcome. From a decaying asylum to a surreal circus, a New Orleans coven to an LA posh home, the show has had several locations that are unique and offer their own specialized brand of horror.
