2. Vampire’s Kiss/High Spirits (Scream Factory)
The third and final release from Scream Factory is the Vampire’s Kiss/High Spirits double feature coming in at number 2. If I’m being truly honest with myself the Severin release of Axe/Kidnapped Coed should probably rank above this one but I’m slightly biased because I love Nicolas Cage.
Nicolas Cage is my favorite actor of all time. It’s been that way for a long time and it’ll always be that way. Vampire’s Kiss is one of my favorite Cage performances. It’s so off the wall and bizarre, even by his standards. He fully commits and just goes for it. Having this on Blu-ray is awesome. This release even has an audio commentary with Cage. It basically perfect.
There is another film on this release called High Spirits. I actually haven’t even watched that yet. Still this comes in at number 2 because I love Vampire’s Kiss that much. My list, my rules!
