Stuart Gordon’s adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s short story of the same name had to make several cuts to the gore and (unsurprisingly) the S&M footage to achieve an R rating. Lucky for us, the unrated Director’s Cut with all of the footage restored is available on DVD and Blu-Ray. So there’s that.
