Sometimes I get sent a video that is so perfect for the Twisted Music Video of the Week series, I can’t help but excitedly bounce in my seat waiting for Friday so I can share it with you all. Such was the case with Asian She and their video for “6-17”, which was sent to me by band member Thomas Froggatt, who is also the guitarist of She Wants Revenge.
Directed by Dan Cleary & Thad Bridwell, the video is a throwback mixture of giallo and 70’s horror but with a slasher character that is as terrifying and as vicious as any we’ve seen up to this point. In fact, I’m so into the design that they’ve created, I’d love to see a full-length slasher with this character! I mean, just look at it! How fucking grotesque and bizarre is that?!
