An alien invasion is objectively scary. It could be the stereotypical little grey men with buggy black eyes or the shapeless monsters from The Thing, it doesn’t matter, they’re still extraterrestrial creatures who need to be exterminated with extreme prejudice. That’s sort of what The Hum: Abductions is about, only E.T. will be doing the exterminating while I hide in an alley dumpster trying to MacGyver a laser rifle out of moldy hamburger buns and sticky gum wrappers.
