Stuffed Facehugger – $12.99
Many of you who are parents may look at this and think it’s perfect for your small child, and you’re probably right. I look at this and think about how much my dog would love it (I’d have to rip the stuffing out, of course). This is the most adorable facehugger that I’ve ever seen! And it’s at Toys “R” Us!
Alien Anthology Blu-Ray Collector’s Set – $229.99
Hear me out on this one, because the price for this one is steep. After all, why would you spend $230 on this when you can buy the whole set in regular packaging for $34.99? Here is the selling point: the top of the egg lights up! I may be trying to justify purchasing this for $300 when it was released back in 2011. Sue me. It’s a funny story though, because my first copy of this set was lost in the mail so Fox sent me a replacement, then the one that got lost was delivered to me about a month later. So I got two of these for $300! I call that a win. Seriously though, buy this set (the cheap one) if you haven’t already. It’s one of the best Blu-Ray sets around.
Legendary Encounters Card Game – $59.99
We’re all geeks here, right? This card game allows up to five players to work together to complete various objectives while avoiding facehuggers and xenomorphs. Players who do get killed become xenomorphs and must try to stop the other players from completing their objectives. First one to yell “game over, man” has to buy the rest of the players a drink afterwards though.
Alien: Isolation – $14.99
Do you like hiding in lockers? Do you like standing in one place for hour as you watch a xenomorph walk around a room? If the answer to either of those questions is “yes,” then Alien: Isolation is for you! In all seriousness, it’s a pretty spectacular game, and it’s absolutely terrifying if you play with surround sound. The price is so low now that there’s really no excuse for not owning this game. There is a lot of hiding in lockers though.
Alien Day Shirt – $26.49
Lastly, we have a shirt to commemorate the occasion. If you wear this, no one will need to ask you why you just bought a bunch of Alien merchandise. You can just point at your shirt and keep walking!
