Mind Body Spirit Trailer

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, an upcoming found footage nightmare set to screen next week at the Chattanooga Film Festival.

Just how flexible is fear? Bloody Disgusting has the exclusive trailer debut that teases the back-bending terror. Check it out below.

In Mind Body Spirit, “Anya, an aspiring yoga influencer, embarks on a ritual practice left behind by her estranged grandmother. She documents the practice on her YouTube channel for the world to watch, allowing her audience intimate access to her journey. But what starts as a spiritual self-help guide quickly evolves into something much more sinister. As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”

Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.

The film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, Kristi Noory and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.

In addition to the trailer that highlights how obsession devolves into a self-help nightmare, check out the film’s poster and images highlighting Anya’s quest to reconnect with her grandmother.

The found footage horror movie plays at the Chattanooga Film Festival in-person only, kicking off the fest with a screening at the Read House hotel on Friday, June 23, 2023. Tickets can be acquired here. Mind Body Spirit has had a successful festival run and has screened at Int’l Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival where it won Best Horror Feature.  It has also screened at Telluride Horror Show and DeadCenter.

Stay tuned for additional details on Mind Body Spirit as they arrive.
