We told you yesterday that Jon Turteltaub’s The Meg will be hitting home video on November 13, being released on Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD. Prior to that date, the mega-sized shark attack flick will be unleashed digitally on October 30.

Today brings special features info, and unfortunately, no director’s cut or even deleted scenes will be found on the discs. A bummer, given Turteltaub has stated outright that a good deal of gruesome carnage was cut out of the film, but not surprising given the fact that the effects work on much of that excised content was never actually finished.
