Funny enough, we literally just this week published an article on the largely forgotten animated special Halloween is Grinch Night, a sequel to How the Grinch Stole Christmas that aired on ABC in October of 1977. As it turns out, a new Blu-ray released prior to Halloween includes the special, so you won’t have to be tracking it down on YouTube anymore!
Released on October 23, How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Ultimate Edition includes a ton of bonus features, as well as the specials The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat and Halloween is Grinch Night, both newly remastered for the Blu-ray format. Halloween is Grinch Night had long ago been made available on VHS, but this is the special’s Blu-ray debut.
Yes, this means you’ll have to buy How the Grinch Stole Christmas *again*. But it’s totally worth it. I promise. No horror fan’s collection should be without Halloween is Grinch Night!
