David Gordon Green’s Halloween is headed to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow, January 15, and the release is packaged with extras including deleted/extended scenes and featurettes. We’ve already seen a couple of these deleted scenes, including “Shower Mask Visit” and “Cameron and Cops Don’t Mix,” and io9 brings us another one today.
In the deleted scene, titled “Jog to a Hanging Dog,” Allyson Strode comes across the gruesome handiwork of Michael Myers, who has literally hung up a dead dog from a neighborhood tree. Myers is of course no stranger to killing dogs, as he also killed one in John Carpenter’s original.
