Empire has the first shot from The Enfield Haunting, a three-parter drama that stars Eleanor Worthington-Cox, as well as Timothy Spall, Juliet Stevenson and Matthew Macfadyen.
The miniseries was directed by Kristoffer Nyholm (“The Killing”) and will premiere this spring on Sky Living.
As explained y Variety, it’s a dramatization of real events that are alleged to have taken place at a North London house in 1977. Spall will play Maurice Grosse, a rookie paranormal researcher. After a recent personal tragedy, he is drawn to the house on Green Street after disturbing reports of a desperate family terrorized by malevolent unseen forces.
Series is adapted from Guy Lyon Playfair’s book “This House Is Haunted.”
